About
서울의 영화/미디어 산업에서 출발해 인터넷·디지털 전환의 시대를 거쳐, 뉴욕 및 유럽에서 소프트웨어/데이터 기업을 설립하고 성장시킨 창업가이자 작가입니다. 한국 최초의 주간 타블로이드 영화저널을 창간하고 세계 최초의 온라인 국제영화제를 열었으며, ‘한국의 아마존’을 꿈꾸며 온라인 서점 플랫폼을 설립했습니다.
MIT Sloan 및 Columbia Business School에서 디지털 비즈니스 Postgraduate Diploma 과정을 마쳤습니다. 현재는 회고록, 연구서, 장편 SF, K-팝 데이터 분석 등 다양한 장르의 저술을 통해 기술과 인간, 관계와 배움의 교차점을 탐구하고 있습니다.
An entrepreneur and author who began his career in Seoul’s film and media industry, navigated the digital transformation, and went on to build software and data companies in New York and Europe. He launched Korea’s first weekly film tabloid, established the world’s first online international film festival, and founded an e-commerce bookstore platform with the vision of becoming the “Amazon of Korea.”
He completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business from MIT Sloan and Columbia Business School. Through his diverse writings—spanning memoirs, research, science fiction, and K-pop data analysis—he explores the intersections of technology and humanity, relationships and learning.
